This is the Alligator Gar Pike (Atractosteus spatula) fish that is known as the Gator Gar. This fish is named for its disproportionately large mouth and teeth, as you can see from the pictures. Alligator gar pike habitat of the southern United States: Texas, Oklahoma, Lusiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. Original horror fish, indeed.
